Kantiv

Kantiv is a pursuit-intelligence/proposal-automation platform for the AEC (architecture, engineering, construction) industry, formerly known as Joist AI. The publicly available legal documentation is materially incomplete: the privacy policy explicitly applies ONLY to the marketing website and disclaims coverage of the software service, and no software Terms of Service or software-specific privacy/data-processing agreement was accessible. On the positive side, Kantiv has earned and renewed independent SOC 2 and ISO 27001/02/17/18 certifications, references a Trust Center, and advertises Zero Data Retention (ZDR) agreements with LLM providers — strong signals for enterprise data handling. However, because the binding software-service terms governing input/output ownership, training use, retention, human review, and deletion were not available for review, business users cannot confirm contractual protections from the public materials alone. Treat as moderate risk and obtain the software agreement, DPA, ZDR documentation, and SOC 2 report before processing sensitive or proprietary proposal data.
